Mr. H. V. Shah, Chairman of the Group, has started the business in Sixties in Paint manufacturing alongwith Mr. C. D. Mehta, Joint Chairman of the Group.

The Group made in roads in Real Estate, Mr.Shah almost single handedly went ahead with its project of manufacturing of Industrial Nitrocellulose for first time in Indian Private sector in the name of Asha Nitrocellulose Pvt. Ltd. He guided the company through its ups and downs technically and commercially till 1998 before it was sold to ICI (I) Ltd. Meanwhile, the product line was extended to Celluloid Sheets, Ethyl Cellulose and Pigment Dispersions.


Mr. C. D. Mehta, a Chartered Accountant by Profession, has looked after the Group’s Financial aspects from the very beginning and being instrumental in supporting the various manufacturing and real estate business through ups and downs.


Mr. B. B. Sen, a Chemical Engineer with Post Graduate in Business Management, has been working for leading multinational surface coating industry for more than 20 years. He joined this Group in late Nineties to set up Pigment Chips unit known as Asha Dispersions Pvt. Ltd.


Mr. J. K. Mehta, a Chartered Accountant by Profession, looks after the company finance and commercial aspects of the Group from the beginning of his career.


Dr. V.K.V. Unni, Ph.D from Institute of Science, Bangalore has 35 years experience in Liquid Inks at Senior Technical level in DIC Group Companies both in India and Overseas.


Mr. K. J. Dave, M.A., LLB, has a long experience with Union Carbide Ltd. (presently Dow Chemical) and is in charge of Groups’ exports.


Mr. Srinivasan, a Chemical Engineer, with a long background in various reputed Chemical companies, is in charge of Ethyl Cellulose plant.


Mr. J. B. Mehta, a Commerce Graduate and MBA in Business Management, is in charge of Pigment Dispersions plant.


Mr. A. P. Mehta, a Commerce Graduate and MBA in Business Management, is looking after commercial activities of the Group.
